I’ve never been the type to keep a diary, I’m not really that great with words, and for the most part I still depend on spell check. So why start a blog? I figure I need a place to share my loves in life: Hooping, music, fashion, and everything in between. I suppose I could have waited to start at the beginning of the year, but I find that resolutions are hard to keep, and change starts whenever you want it to. Plus, with the renovation of my room, and the arrival of my fire hoop…it feels like the timing is right.
I’m still a little bit overwhelmed by the many tools and settings behind creating a WordPress blog. I suppose I need to dabble a bit more before getting used to it. But fun part first! Picking out a banner photo. My friend Marco Cabrera takes the best pictures. I knew there would be plenty to chose from in his album. While browsing through his album for some banner potential, I came across this photo:
This was an sad attempt to capture a photo of the cute waiter behind me. A valiant effort, but no dice.
So I can’t wait to start blogging away! For now I have work to do. A certain bread packaging design, and some overdue updating on the chrisandberns.com site. Adios!
